Safety measures for training courses conducted during the corona pandemic

In order to limit the spread of the coronavirus, Mensura takes various safety measures. These measures are implemented during the training courses organised at Mensura and those that take place in your organisation.

Training courses within Mensura

We are currently digitising the range of training courses that we offer. Some of our workshops are still conducted in our own centres. Mensura is taking the following measures to ensure absolute safety.

The location

  • We adjust the number of participants and the equipment according to the size of the training room (at least 4m² is allocated to each person - participants are required to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from each other at all times), to ensure that social distancing can be respected at all times. The maximum number of people permitted to be present in the room is specified on the door.
  • Before the training commences, we thoroughly clean the room, the contact surfaces, the furniture and any aids.
  • We ventilate the training rooms via natural ventilation or a ventilation system. During the break, the trainer will open the doors and - if possible - the windows, to ensure additional ventilation.
  • Each room is provided with a closed pedal bin.
  • We also take the necessary safety measures in the toilets.

The training course

  • At the start of the training, the trainer discusses the safety measures that will apply during the training and the breaks, with the participants.
  • Demo and practice material is not shared, unless this is absolutely unavoidable. In such case, Mensura will provide disposable gloves and the practice material will be disinfected each time.
  • We offer meals. There is a dining area available with adequate space and distance.
  • Drinks are only distributed in individual packages.
  • Specific rules apply to the practical exercises during the training courses. Mensura conducts a risk analysis beforehand in order to ensure that the course is conducted safely.

Participants

  • Participants are required to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from each other at all times.
  • Each participant must bring his/her own face mask. Participants and instructors must wear a mouth mask.
  • Good hand hygiene is crucial. Hand disinfection facilities are provided within the training room. Washing hands after visiting the toilet is compulsory.
  • Participants exhibiting symptoms indicative of COVID-19 or fever shall not be permitted to participate in the training course.
  • We also recommend a self-test when there are many infections.

Training courses in your organisation

Is the training course to be conducted within your organisation? If so, we request you to provide us with a list of the anti-corona measures you are taking as soon as you confirm the training. You can supplement this list with photos if you wish.

In order for the training course to be conducted safely, you must at least meet the following conditions:

The location

  • The training room should be large enough for the maximum number of participants (at least 4m² per person). Clearly specify the room dimensions, including the available free walking space.
  • Provide alcohol gel (at least 70% alcohol), disinfectant and disposable wipes to clean surfaces and hands.
  • Sanitary facilities for washing hands with soap and water must be available near the rooms.
  • Thoroughly disinfect the room, contact surfaces, furniture and any aids in advance.
  • The training room must be adequately ventilated (via windows or a ventilation system).

Participants

  • Participants must maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from each other at all times.
  • Participants must bring their own face masks and wear them if they are unable to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from others.
  • Good hand hygiene is crucial. Washing hands after visiting the sanitary facilities is compulsory.
  • Participants exhibiting symptoms indicative of COVID-19 or fever shall not be permitted to participate in the training course.

If in the trainer’s opinion, you have not taken sufficient measures, he/she will contact you. After consultation, the trainer will decide whether or not the training can take place.

With our checklist, you can verify at a glance whether you have taken sufficient measures.
