BA5-certified employees are also authorised to assist and guide colleagues in performing safe electrical work, thus increasing the level of safety within the entire work environment.

Who?

The training course is aimed at qualified workers, such as electrotechnicians and maintenance technicians, who work on or near electrical equipment. This course for BA5-certified employees is only available to those who have successfully completed the training course for BA4-certified employees.

What?

During this interactive training course, your workers will gain the necessary skills to become BA5 certified, accurately assess electrical hazards, and take measures accordingly.

How?

This training course takes one day to complete and provides ample time for practical exercises and for exchanging experiences. The theory part of the course covers the following topics:

  • introduction: objectives and approach;
  • general information and regulations for safe electrical work practices;
  • electrical hazards associated with work on or near electrical equipment;
  • regulations regarding work on non-energised electrical equipment;
  • terms and regulations regarding work on energised electrical equipment.

Result

As a BA5-certified person, your employee will have the necessary practical knowledge and insight into mandatory safety requirements for electrical work. He or she will be able to accurately assess and identify potential electrical hazards and propose prevention measures to help mitigate these hazards.
