Ten Days of Mental Health 2017: (more) resilient at work

25-09-17

The period from 1 to 10 October will be dedicated to mental fitness. Under the slogan ‘resilient together', regions, companies, schools and associations will be organising activities during the Ten Days of Mental Health to raise awareness and encourage debate on the issue. Is your organisation taking part?

Why get involved?

Employees only perform optimally when they feel good in their own skin. Resilience is crucial to their success, as it helps them cope with adversity and stress better. And it thus plays a key role in preventing mental health problems and burn-out.

Anyone can train to build resilience. But a resilient organisation also requires an open, understanding corporate culture, where mental health is discussed.

10-day countdown to 10 October

World Mental Health Day is held on 10 October each year with the goal of breaking the taboo on mental health. But in the ten preceding days, the issue will be in the spotlight through all kinds of initiatives.

Would you also like to organise an awareness action in the context of these Ten Days of Mental Health? Find inspiration at the many activities, workshops and lectures listed in the calendar www.samenveerkrachtig.be/kalender. Or use the 'Fit in je Hoofd, Goed in je Vel' (Fit in your head, good in your skin) promotional material to raise awareness on mental fitness in your company.
