Mensura donates medical car to non-profit organisation EODEC

A ‘medical office on wheels’ with 260,000 km on the odometer was donated by Mensura and the Rotary Clubs of Aarlen and Bastenaken to the European Oral & Dental Education Center (EODEC) on 9 December. The latter will be converting the vehicle into a mobile dental clinic for the people of the Togolese Republic.

Until recently, Mensura occupational physicians and nurses used the vehicle to perform medical examinations at organisations. But it will soon be serving as a mobile dental clinic in Togo, where EODEC has been making dental care available to local communities for 15 years.

This initiative from Mensura in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Aarlen and Bastenaken is intended as a show of support.

“Health care is a basic need that should be available to everyone. Unfortunately, this is not the case in many countries. By donating the medical car to EODEC, we hope to make dental health care much more easily accessible to the people of Togo. If everything goes as planned, EODEC should be able to receive its first patients in the new mobile dental clinic in the summer of 2024,” says Gretel Schrijvers, CEO of Mensura group.
