Who am I?

I’m involved in all business sectors for different types of intervention, from design ergonomics and training, to coaching and the implementation of policies for managing ergonomic risks.

My family occupies an important place in my life. I enjoy walking in the countryside, running and travelling, but also following the children in their various sporting activities.

Look at where you are today and set yourself a little challenge for tomorrow!"

Expertise

I propose a personalised process, on a case-by-case basis, depending on the client’s request and what he or she is seeking to achieve.

Ergonomics is becoming increasingly important in society and in the world of health and safety – and the day-to-day life of the ergonomist is following the same path. My many years of experience in the field have enabled me to develop expertise that can be applied across all sectors of business.

Depending on the specific needs of the client, I suggest a personalised approach. Change is not always achieved in one shot and my skills enable me to take on all projects, regardless of the way of working: design ergonomics, a project to achieve improvement, risk analysis, training line management, the in-house prevention department and even directly with workers themselves.

Experience

Ergonomics prevention adviser at Mensura
2003 – present

Research at the ULB’s Industrial and Commercial Psychology Laboratory and in UCL’s Occupational Hygiene Unit.
2001 – 2003

Degrees

After gaining a degree in clinical psychology, I began my career as a researcher in a university environment. After obtaining my DES in ergonomics in 2003, I worked as a multi-skilled ergonomist in the field. I am very familiar with taking a participative and multidisciplinary approach to my work. It is a process that has enabled me to achieve the title of European Ergonomist.

Courses

I take part in training courses for prevention advisers with the aim of making them allies to the cause of ergonomics in the field – people who are aware of the risk factors involved with ergonomics. Specifically for the care sector, “Train the Trainer” courses are very relevant: implementing a structure enabling training to be a part of everyday life, training coaches and referents in ergonomics so that they can present workshops and exchange views on the difficulties encountered.
