Since 2015, I’ve been an account manager at Certimed, specialising in absenteeism management. I help companies take a proactive approach to occupational health and employee wellbeing, combining listening, analysis and strategy while remaining true to my calling: providing concrete and human solutions to the challenges of the workplace. I also regularly run training courses and webinars for companies, HR managers and executives.

Who am I?

Hi, my name’s Dimitri and I live in Villers-la-Ville, a green municipality in Walloon Brabant that’s a great place to live. I’m married with three adult children, and I like to enjoy the good things in life – which is probably a legacy of my training in hotel management. I love simple, honest pleasures: a nice meal with family or friends, a country walk or a glass of wine in good company.

Team spirit and having a good time are key values for me, both at and outside work. Sport is important in my daily life: tennis, jogging, skiing... they’re all ways of recharging my batteries. When I’m not playing sport or exercising, I like gardening or simply enjoying some peace and quiet. As a keen Standard Liège supporter, I also see life in red and white.

Expertise

I began my career in the hotel sector, where I worked for ten years in sales at the prestigious five-star Warwick Hotel. This taught me to manage customer relationships, direct commercial strategies and represent the hotel internationally, with frequent trips all over Europe. The experience gave me a real culture of service, negotiation and performance.

Consistently motivated by a desire to serve others, I moved into the human resources sector as a regional manager. In this role, I led teams, developed strategic partnerships with clients and actively contributed to structuring HR processes in demanding and constantly changing environments.
