The Labour Inspectorate for Occupational Welfare Monitoring is part of the FPS ELSD and is responsible for inspections. Inspectors analyse and evaluate organisations’ well-being policies and indicate if there are shortcomings or breaches of legislation.
In 2025, the labour inspections will focus primarily on these campaigns:
Sector-related topics
Chemical agents and seasonal work in agriculture
Surprise action in the construction industry, incl. safety coordination and thematic enforcement
Fisheries
Health-related risks
Crystalline quartz dust
Training on diisocyanates
Asbestos
Biosafety
Prevention of musculoskeletal disorders
Psychosocial prevention
Regulations and monitoring
Monitoring new Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPPW)
Fedris – increased risk (defaulters and appeals aggravated risk)
Passenger lifts (modernisation and repeated negative decisions)
Note that this list is not exclusive. Regardless of your sector, your company could be facing a labour inspection in 2025.
