      Conflict mediation

Mediation is an effective way to defuse a conflict at work. A psychosocial risk prevention advisor facilitates the process so that a solution can be reached that is acceptable to all parties.

      Why choose conflict mediation?

      • You can choose how we approach the mediation: individually or in a group (a three-way discussion).
      • A psychosocial risk prevention advisor facilitates the discussions.
      • As an employer, you will then receive a confidential report setting out the specific agreements reached during the mediation.

      What is conflict mediation?

Mediation is a good way to defuse a conflict at work. A psychosocial risk prevention advisor facilitates the process, encourages open communication and helps reach a solution that is acceptable to all parties.

How does Mensura help in practice?

      1. Preparatory meeting
We discuss the mediation approach together. We make clear agreements about feedback, reporting, follow-up and aftercare.

      2. Mediation
Based on the preparatory meeting, we suggest the right approach. Shuttle mediation involves individual meetings with feedback to the parties involved. A three-way or plenary discussion starts with individual meetings, followed by a joint meeting facilitated by the mediator.

      3. Confidential report
After the mediation, you will receive a document setting out what has been agreed. If this has been arranged with you as the client, we will also include feedback.

Nearly 1 in 10 employees have felt bullied in the past year.

Bullying turns the atmosphere at work sour and affects employees’ mental well-being. It can happen to anyone, although figures show that women (10.05%) and people who indicate ‘X’ (23.73%) are more likely to report bullying than men (8.48%).
