How does Mensura help in practice?

1. You call the trauma line
You explain the situation to a psychologist. Together, you determine what help your employee needs.

2. We plan support (if necessary)

  • For a group

If an entire group is involved, the psychologist – in consultation with you – organises a support meeting with all employees. This preferably takes place at or near the scene of the incident. During the session, we look at who has been most affected and who can use extra help.

  • For an individual

We plan a meeting with a psychologist, either at your office or at a Mensura office.

3. You receive an oral report
The psychologist explains how the victim or those affected are doing and gives advice on further actions. This enables you to help get things back to normal in safe conditions. If specialist help is needed, a suitable referral follows.

Frequently asked questions

Is support always provided at the scene?

No. The psychologist on the trauma helpline conducts an intake discussion and provides initial information. Together, you look at any actions you may be able to take yourself. If it seems advisable to you or the psychologist to start a support process, this can be scheduled. However, there is no obligation to do so.

What is the process for the reimbursement of costs through work accident insurance?

You can initiate a claim yourself.
