Risk prevention advisor at Mensura: could this be the job for you?
As a risk prevention advisor, you work in a specific area: occupational safety, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, or hygiene and toxicology. You conduct risk assessments, develop risk prevention plans and provide training in consultation with your client. You work as part of a multidisciplinary team and visit your client’s premises.
Psychosocial risk prevention advisor
Here’s what your job involves
You support your clients with their policy development in psychosocial and related areas (e.g. inappropriate behaviour, aggression, absenteeism) and conduct risk assessments.
You conduct formal and informal discussions in the context of legislation in this area.
You provide training and webinars to clients and colleagues.
You provide support after traumatic events.
You offer employees individual psychosocial support (in connection with problems such as alcohol or drug addiction, stress, aggression or conflicts).
Specialise while working at Mensura
Do you have a master’s degree in occupational psychology, clinical psychology, sociology or pedagogy? If so, you can take further training at Mensura to become a psychosocial risk prevention advisor.
Do you already have experience in areas such as psychosocial problems or wellbeing at work, and are you interested in becoming a psychosocial risk prevention advisor? Again, we’ll help you obtain the specialist qualification.
You’ll complete the multidisciplinary basic training for risk prevention advisors (6 months), followed by specialisation in psychosocial issues (1 year).
The programs are run by universities, university colleges and other educational institutions. Courses take place during working hours, one day a week.
Mensura provides the funding.

This is your job description
You conduct risk assessments, develop preventive measures, investigate accidents and raise awareness about health and safety. You do this for clients in various sectors and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You support the internal risk prevention services and attend meetings of the occupational health and safety committee.
You provide training in various aspects of safety.

In-house training at Mensura
Do you have a master’s degree in industrial sciences with the additional level 2 risk prevention advisor diploma, and have you been hired for a job as a risk prevention and safety advisor? If so, you can obtain the level 1 diploma at Mensura.
The program lasts two years and takes one day per week during working hours.
Mensura finances the training.
