Who am I?

Looking to avoid injuries? In that case you need to deal with loads properly and adopt the correct attitude to posture. In other words: first learn a new way of thinking and then turn it into a new way of being. That’s something I learned in my youth as a table-tennis player. Physical integrity is a necessary condition for happiness.

These days, at Mensura, the work I do makes me happy. That’s because my heart lies precisely midway between people and technology. On the narrow and sometimes deceptively thin dividing line where the T of technology and the H of ‘human’ touch or intersect.

It is at that interface that I want to create a healthy and therefore sustainable symbiosis.

I still do sport in my spare time, plus I enjoy travelling and having a good time with my kids.

I haven’t done it yet, so I definitely think I can" Pippi Longstocking

Expertise

I have more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the automotive sector and specifically in assembly departments. As a result, I have a clear view of the production process, project operations and the approach to take to issues of quality.

I have also picked up a lot of international corporate culture baggage along the way. For instance, I have been involved with both American and German multinationals, as well as working in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

At Mensura I focus on:

  • Ergonomic improvement projects, training courses, risk analysis and design advice both for industry and the office
  • Mock-up analyses prior to the purchase of a new production line
  • Quick ergonomic advice for the reduction of medical complaints
