Company visits and policy advice
Knock, knock! Who’s there? Mensura! A company visit from a risk prevention expert is mandatory for every company, large or small. During such a visit, one of our friendly colleagues will have a look at whether your organisation is addressing risk prevention, wellbeing and safety properly. We’ll check that you’re complying with the Wellbeing Act, identify risks and give you clear advice on how to ensure a healthy and safe workplace. See you soon?
What happens during a company visit?
Together, we’ll take a close look at your workplace. Are you complying with all areas of the law? Are there any risks to your employees’ wellbeing? The points on which we focus include the following:
General policy and organisational measures (such as your onboarding and absenteeism policy, maternity protection, use of temporary workers and procedures for work accidents)
Ergonomics (e.g. lifting or posture)
Psychosocial problems (e.g. stress or excessive workload)
Occupational hygiene (e.g. noise and ventilation)
General hygiene (e.g. toilets and canteens)
Based on the risks we identify in your workplace, we also organise proper medical monitoring for employees subject to occupational risks, to ensure that they stay in good health.
Visit over? You haven’t got rid of us quite yet ... To put it more positively, you’ll receive a report with clear recommendations about your risks and how you can reduce them – which you don’t have to do on your own.
Why is a company visit important?
A company visit is more than a blind date with an external risk prevention advisor. It’s often a real eye-opener: you gain a better understanding of the risks in your workplace and it helps you prioritise. Moreover, it’s the perfect opportunity to ask us any additional questions on risk prevention you may have. What else can we help you with?
Visiting companies of all sizes
We visit all our clients, great and small. How often will we call on you? It depends on your NACE code and fee category: you can find these on MyMensura. But don’t worry: we’ll let you know when we’re coming. You don’t have to do anything yourself.
Does your organisation have multiple locations? If so, we’ll work with you to set up a convenient visit schedule, so that all your locations receive the attention they deserve.

New to Mensura? We’ll give you some extras:
Valuable tips: within two months of joining, we’ll give you comprehensive information about risks in your sector, how to address them and how we can help you.
Exploratory company visit: during our first visit, we’ll jointly identify the biggest risks in your workplace and give you five priorities to focus on. Because you can’t sort out everything at once, can you?
Periodic company visit: we’ll take a look at the points you’ve already addressed, check whether there are any new risks and set five new priorities together. Clear, tailored advice is always included.
Policy advice: we’ll incorporate all the above information into your policy advice – a kind of dossier in which you build your risk prevention policy piece by piece. It’s very useful as the basis for your overall risk prevention plan or annual action plan.
Your policy advice
If you’re a Mensura client, you can find your policy advice in the MyMensura client zone. You can also arrange a company visit, look up the risks for your organisation, and much more.
