Why risk prevention is important from the start

Hooray, you’ve got extra hands or brains in your organisation! Now you don’t have to do everything on your own any more. But ensuring that your new employees can work in optimal conditions – and keeping on doing so – involves some new responsibilities. Because you don’t want them to end up taking sick leave due to excessive stress, unsafe work situations or poor ergonomics. Or worse, to leave your company.

With Mensura as your well-being partner, you can take a practical and systematic approach – leaving you free to focus on your business without any worries.

It’s therefore no coincidence that having a suitable well-being and risk prevention policy is a legal requirement. Such a policy helps create a sound basis for a healthy and safe workplace for your growing small business.

As a new employer, how do you ensure well-being in the workplace?

No matter how small your team, you’re required as an employer to sign up with an external occupational health and safety service. As a well-being partner, Mensura can help you with your ‘to do’ list. To give a few examples:

      • Performing a of all workplace hazards
      • Drawing up a risk prevention policy, with an overall risk prevention plan and annual action plan

      • Arranging health monitoring for employees subject to occupational risks

      • Reporting work accidents to the insurer (within 8 days)

      • Reporting serious work accidents to the insurer and the Well-Being at Work Inspectorate
