Who am I?
I have had a long career with a range of companies in the food industry. I always tell people that when you’re setting up your company or business, remember to think about your employees, as well as yourself. Paying close attention to health, safety, quality and the environment is vitally important.
I also put my time to good use after work. I enjoy going for a walk. But as my main extra job, I do a round selling ice cream.

Expertise
I have had a lengthy career with a wide range of companies in the food industry. In my roles as prevention adviser and the person responsible for health, safety, quality and the environment, I have gained a huge amount of know-how that I can now apply to my company visits.
A few examples include conducting accident investigations, carrying out risk analyses or drawing up overall safety plans and practical action plans. I also enjoy presenting safety training courses to managers and production staff, organising and monitoring safety audits and performing hygiene checks on equipment, production areas, warehouses and personnel.
