Obviously, though, wellbeing, risk prevention, safety, health and training opportunities require investment, and it’s not always easy to know where you’ll find the money. Grants free you from the need to pay for everything yourself. This liberates resources for other strategic investments, allowing your company to grow faster. By using grants wisely, you can achieve more with the same budget – and that’s the kind of maths we love!
What grants are available?
In Belgium, grants can be categorised by level and region. There are numerous possibilities in each case:
Flanders: through VLAIO
Brussels-Capital Region: through hub.brussels and Brussels Economy and Employment

Don’t forget your sector fund either: this will often have additional resources available for training and risk prevention projects.
Grants for Mensura services
You can obtain various reductions or allowances for the development of your wellbeing policy. The many grants available are divided into three themes:
Employment: for recruiting permanent or temporary workers, improving working conditions and getting job-seekers back into work.
Integration and reintegration: for keeping employees healthy at work, helping employees who have been on long-term sick leave to return to work, adapting workplaces and supporting employees with disabilities.
Training and advice: for honing the skills of your employees (and yourself) and bringing in external experts for advice on a range of wellbeing topics.
