Why choose a screen work e-survey?

  • People who spend most of their day at a computer screen are exposed to health risks that you, as an employer, don’t always immediately notice.
  • The e-survey gives you insight into your employees’ wellbeing, including their teleworking situation. You conduct the mandatory screen work risk assessment at the same time.
  • By identifying the risks, you reduce the risk of health problems.
  • As an employer, you’ll receive a clear report with action points and recommendations.
  • Your employees will receive specific tips on healthier screen work.
  • You will gain access to our online dashboards, where you can view all reports, filter your results and compare them with benchmarks.

What is a screen work e-survey?

  • The screen work e-survey is a risk assessment you conduct through an online survey – including for your teleworkers.

  • The questionnaire is intended for organisations with at least 20 screen workers and gives you insight into their wellbeing.

  • Afterwards, you will receive a clear report with specific action points and recommendations.

  • Your employees will immediately receive practical tips that they can put into practice themselves.

How does Mensura help in practice?

  1. Preparation
we start with a discussion of the approach. You start with a validated standard questionnaire that you can supplement with up to five company-specific questions.

  2. Completion of the e-survey: your employees will receive a link to the online questionnaire by email. They have three weeks to complete it. We will send a reminder in order to reach as many employees as possible.

The questionnaire consists of four parts:

    • general questions

    • questions about working conditions

    • questions about working from home

    • questions about work-related health problems

After completing the questionnaire, your employees will immediately receive practical tips that they can put into practice themselves.

  3. Report: we will conduct a group assessment of the working conditions and potential health problems. We will also compare the situation of office workers and those working from home. You will receive a clear report with action points and recommendations, which we can come and explain on-site if you wish. You will also have access to an online dashboard where you can view your reports and filter and compare results.

Frequently asked questions

Is the e-survey available in multiple languages?

Yes, participants can choose between Dutch, French or English.

Is the e-survey compliant with GDPR rules?
  • All our clients have a general contract in which we refer to our privacy policy.

  • All our quotations also include a GDPR clause.

  • At the beginning of the online questionnaire, we ask each participant for consent to the processing of personal data, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Can an e-survey also be conducted for organisations with fewer than 20 screen workers?

No, because we can’t guarantee an anonymous group report.

We refer organisations with fewer than 20 screen workers to the screen work e-coach. This short test gives you an overview of your personal points for improvement.

For client groups C and D (SMEs), the screen work e-coach is included in the basic package every five years.

Does the reporting break down the results by department, location and job?

Yes, at the start of the project, we’ll go through an intake questionnaire in which we work with you to determine what breakdowns in the results are relevant to your organisation.

Is there also follow-up for screen workers who require ergonomic support?

Yes, the need for individual advice is usually asked about in the survey. We recommend this combination in order to optimise your employees’ physical health.

If you don’t want this, it can be left out.

Can screen work risk assessment also be done by an analysis on site by an ergonomist instead of an online survey?

That is possible. Depending on your situation, we determine the best approach. With the online survey you collect structured feedback from all VDU workers - including teleworkers.

The on-site risk analysis includes a visit to the office environment by a ergonomist and provides a professional, objective view of the ergonomics of your office environment.

The combination of both is thus ideal for getting a complete picture and provides the strongest basis for targeted actions.
