Electric bicycle
In this interactive workshop, you learn how to cycle safely on an electric bicycle. We cover the Highway Code in detail, such as your position on the road, priority and the necessary equipment (e.g. a helmet). You also learn how to maintain an e-bike properly for longer riding enjoyment.

The electric bicycle is a practical and environmentally friendly means of transport. If you want to enjoy it to the full and do it safely, it is important to know the right traffic rules.

What do you learn?
You learn to cycle safely on your e-bike thanks to a clear explanation of the Highway Code, such as your position on the road, the priority rules and the mandatory equipment. You also get tips on steering technique and maintenance, so that you can keep riding for longer and with more enjoyment.
Maximum 15 participants per session.

After this training session, you will know:
Where you must ride on the road as a cyclist,
When your bicycle complies with legal requirements and how you can make your trusty steed even safer,
How to anticipate in traffic and choose the safest route,
How to react appropriately to dangerous traffic situations and other road users.

All employees who use an electric bicycle for their commute.
What is stipulated by law?
There is no specific legislation under the Wellbeing Act that makes this training session compulsory. Preventing work accidents during commuting does, however, fall under a company’s wellbeing policy. So it is relevant to offer this training session in the context of your employees’ safety and wellbeing.
