Why choose a fire safety risk assessment?

    • You’ll be complying with the legal obligation to draw up a fire prevention risk assessment.
    • You’ll receive a clear overview of the fire risks in your organisation, with specific recommendations on how to mitigate them. This is useful input for social dialogue.
    • The assessment will put you in a better position to quickly detect and report fires that have just broken out, organise a smooth evacuation, tackle the fire promptly and ensure an efficient response from the emergency services.
    • You’ll receive clear advice that sets out priorities and practical improvements.
    • The risk assessment is a useful tool for informing and training your in-house firefighting team.

What is a fire safety risk assessment?

We use a risk assessment to examine the effectiveness of your fire prevention policy. It will tell you where your company is not complying with the regulations, and we'll propose measures designed to address these shortcomings, giving you a powerful tool to reduce fire risks and react appropriately in an emergency.

How does Mensura help in practice?

Our approach consists of four steps:

    1. You prepare for our visit
Together with our quote, you’ll receive a short checklist of documents you should gather together and have available during the visit. This will allow us to conduct a thorough and accurate assessment.

    2. We visit your site
A Mensura expert inspects the entire site together with a qualified person (your risk prevention advisor, someone from the technical department or a member of the firefighting team). This will give us a good understanding of your fire prevention approach in practice.

    3. We identify the risks
We examine fire risks relating to your building, processes, machinery, installations and people. We also assess the documents you provide on-site.

    4. You receive a clear risk assessment
You receive an overview of risks and preventive measures, and a set of clear priorities so that you know exactly what you need to focus on.
