Mental wellbeing expert
LinkedInWhat you give your attention to grows. In other words, a listening ear is invaluable. I experienced this as a volunteer at the Tele-Onthaal organisation and still apply it every day in my job as a psychosocial prevention advisor at Mensura. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, taking photographs, walking and playing tennis.

Expertise
I focus on the prevention of psychosocial risks at work and the individual guidance of employees who are experiencing difficulties. I prefer one-on-one guidance, including for people who are dealing with stress and burnout in the workplace.
I try to guide them effectively and empathetically through the various stages of the process – from (possible) absence to sustainable reintegration into the workplace. In doing so, I continuously seek workable solutions that support all parties involved.
Organisations are increasingly faced with daily changes. That is why Mensura has set up a “Change” working group, of which I am an active member. Within “Change”, I design workshops and training courses for organisations, managers and employees. More specifically, these focus on dealing with the emotional impact of organisational change.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I offered psychosocial support to healthcare providers. Conducting follow-up interviews after traumatic incidents is one of my areas of expertise.
Finally, I also have a role as a customer coordinator. Together with Mensura's multidisciplinary team, I assist a number of large customers in shaping the overall prevention and well-being policy of organisations.
