What is a company visit?
Mensura visits your company regularly in connection with your legal obligations regarding workplace wellbeing.
Every visit starts with an exploratory discussion. This is followed by a tour of the premises. We identify risks to your employees’ safety or health and explain the potential consequences. We also help you determine which roles are subject to mandatory medical monitoring, so that these employees receive the proper oversight.
Based on everything we see and hear, we set priorities together and formulate practical recommendations. ‘The company visit was conducted by a very friendly and helpful individual who shared the necessary and useful information. This is very reassuring for us as an employer. It’s great to have someone come to our workplace who enjoys their job!’
Do you have multiple locations? No problem! We’ll work with you to draw up a realistic schedule of visits to these locations. .

How does Mensura help in practice?
Insight into your company: we gain a better understanding of the working conditions in your various departments (heavy physical demands, workload, noise, etc.).
Identification of hazards and risks: we list all existing hazards and risks in the workplace.
Proper health monitoring: the information from the company visit helps the occupational health physician to organise monitoring correctly to suit your situation.
Practical, tailored advice: we suggest specific preventive measures, from ergonomic adjustments to the use of protective equipment, and give recommendations that you can use at policy level (e.g. in your absenteeism policy). And more.

ABC+ companies: charged in prevention units (PUs)
C-D companies: included in your annual fee (travel costs are extra)

Note: company visits that are additional outside the legal requirement (or arranged by request) are not included in your annual fee and will be invoiced separately.

It depends on your statistical code (ABC+ or C-D) and fee category (1 to 5). You can find this out on MyMensura. Depending on this information, a company visit takes place every 2 to 3 years.
Do you have more than one location? We’ll draw up a schedule of visits to all your locations.
How is the company visit scheduled?
We’ll contact you to make an appointment. You don’t have to do anything yourself.
Can the company visit also be done online?
No. Under the Well-being Act, a company visit must always take place physically in the workplace.
There are few or no risks at my company. Is the visit still mandatory?
Yes, a company visit is mandatory under the Well-being Act, no matter how low your risk level is. This is because there may be risks in your workplace that you haven’t noticed. You’ll also receive useful advice during the visit on how to improve your workplace even further.
Do I need to make any preparations for the company visit?
Prepare the following documents in advance or send them to us:
Risk assessment
Annual action plan and/or overall risk prevention plan
Other useful documents: employment regulations, employee list, installation inspection reports, etc.
Where will I find the report after the company visit?
After the visit, you will receive the report by email and on MyMensura.

What if my company doesn’t have a fixed location (e.g. in the construction sector)?
In that case, we’ll conduct the company visit at an active construction site or project location. We’ll then be able to assess the working conditions and risks properly.

The employer (or a representative) or your risk prevention advisor.
