- Use our advice to set clear priorities towards management or the board.
- Strengthen your image as an employer by creating a work environment that encourages healthy lifestyles.
- Use the scan as a starting point for a structured and realistic health policy that suits your employees as well as your organisation.
What is a Vitality Scan?
The Vitality Scan is a quick and structured screening that helps you focus on improving the vitality of your employees. Not by focusing on employees’ private choices, but by looking at how to take actions in the workplace that influence those choices.
As an HR officer, you get a clear picture of how your organisation supports lifestyle through policies, facilities, and initiatives. Where are you already strong? Where are there still opportunities? The scan makes that concrete and visible so that you can encourage healthy choices at work with targeted, achievable interventions.
The result: a clear and actionable starting point to tackle lifestyle structurally, to inform choices, and to create more impact with limited resources.
Optionally, you can also choose to do an in-depth scan based on an anonymous online survey of your employees. This will give you additional insight into:
employees’ current lifestyles (exercise, sedentary behaviour, diet, relaxation, sleep, smoking, alcohol consumption, etc.)
work context or environment
employees’ needs and expectations in terms of workplace health initiatives and actions
This makes it ideal for further refining policy choices and aligning them with the needs of your employees. Combining both components gives you a complete picture: from policy level to workplace perception.
How does Mensura help in practice?
Startup and analysis
We will start with a thorough intake and analysis of the wellbeing domains in your organisation:
What initiatives or facilities are already in place (e.g. showers, bicycle parking, fruit baskets)?
Are these actions already structurally supported, e.g. through a working group or policy (e.g. policy around smoking at work, breaks, etc.)?
What are the available resources and budgets?
Are there specific challenges around lifestyle or wellbeing that are felt in the workplace (e.g. excessive consumption of energy drinks)?
Turning insights into clear recommendations
Based on the intake, we will clearly map out:
what is already working well today
where reinforcement is possible
which areas of concern pose a risk to productivity, recovery, or absence due to illness
If you also opted for an employee survey, then you’ll receive a clear insights report with anonymised group results.
We will immediately translate all insights into concrete and realistic advice. Together, we will look at what HR is best placed to do, which actions can have the most effect, and how existing initiatives can be used more intelligently or in a more targeted way. Think quick wins, workshops, and long-term initiatives, all tailored to what your organisation really needs. All insights and advice are compiled into a clear final report. It’s the ideal starting point for a supported and targeted policy. You can also use this for your annual action plan and global prevention plan.
Supporting awareness-raising materials
Insight is one thing. But real impact? That happens in the workplace. That’s why we also provide you with supportive awareness-raising materials for the themes you want to focus on. That way, you can get started right away with low-threshold communication and initiatives that match your priorities.
